Rufflane was started by a licensed master groomer who spent eight years watching clients drive 30 minutes each way, wait two hours, drive back, and repeat — every four to six weeks. The grooming was fine. The logistics were the problem.

The van changes the equation. It's a self-contained studio: hydraulic table, professional dryer, heated water, salon-grade shampoos. Everything your dog gets in a walk-in salon, parked at your curb.

But the scheduling is the real difference. One visit isn't the point — a standing slot is. You pick a cadence, we put you on a permanent route. Same groomer, same time, every month. Your dog sees a familiar face; you stop thinking about it altogether.

We're building out routes in Westfield, Cranford, and Scotch Plains. Route spots are limited by geography — once a street fills, it fills.
